Luca Schlotte joined the group for his master thesis.

He will work on the synthesis of complex intermediate surrogatess of polyketide biosynthetic pathways, using recently developed cross-coupling methods. These molecules will be essential for the investigation of tetrahydrofuran-forming cyclases.
